Indigo Brooch

Found a  peice of indigo dyed fabric from a class I attended at Hive in Shipley, Bradford. Made a lovely brooch from a pattern I found in Making magazine, designed by Emma Herian.

Stitch on Felt

I have added hand and machine stitch to my peice of felt. The stitches have added depth and texture to the fabric.

Felting day yesterday. A field of poppies emerged, ready for a little stitching I think.

Jumper to bag

My daughter said 'Can you do anything with this?' This being a favourite jumper that had shrunk in the wash. So today a jumper became a bag. My daughter was very pleased it.

Printing

The weather may be grey outside in Yorkshire, however a spot of printing using bright colours brightens the day.

Rose Petal

My shop bought roses nearly finished, a few lovely deep red petals left. Decided to wrap them in cotton and put them in the steamer. The petals left some interesting marks and a lovely colour.
